The Heart of The Well Ministries

Mississippi continues to face complex challenges, including poverty, food insecurity, substance use disorders, human trafficking, family instability, and the highest infant mortality rate in the nation. These issues affect far more than individuals alone. They impact families, neighborhoods, and entire communities, creating barriers to safety, health, and long term well being.

At The Well Ministries, we believe every person has value, every family deserves support, and every community is stronger when its most vulnerable members are cared for. As a faith based, for impact ministry, we are committed to addressing some of Mississippi’s greatest needs through compassionate, trauma informed services that promote healing, stability, and hope.

Through community outreach, food assistance, recovery support, residential programs, maternity services, and support for survivors of human trafficking, we work to address both immediate needs and the underlying challenges that contribute to cycles of crisis. Our focus is not simply on providing services, but on helping individuals and families build healthy, sustainable futures.

We also recognize that meaningful change happens when communities are equipped to respond well. Through statewide trainings, local educational opportunities, and collaborative partnerships, we help churches, leaders, and community members better understand and address issues such as addiction, poverty, trafficking, and family instability. By strengthening those who serve others, we are helping create a broader network of support across Mississippi.

At The Well Ministries, we believe that lasting impact is created one life, one family, and one community at a time. Every meal served, every person who finds recovery, every mother who receives support, and every survivor who finds safety contributes to a stronger and healthier Mississippi.

Our mission is simple: to meet people in their place of need and empower them to experience transformation and a life of hope.
